The app acts as an alternative to going online and looking it up from the source website. The app offers advantages of letting you know when new chapters of manga that you are following are uploaded and ease of finding what you are looking for in the list.
However I removed a star because of the update that requires us to go through a browser to find manga which is a huge hassle over the older system. The app makes reading more mobile friendly, but isnt so different from reading online
